Merry Christmas!
Well today is Christmas day! We had a wonderful day with family. I'm so excited to use our wii that my mom got us, and it's the red one! Very exciting!! She also made us this BSU plaque that hangs up. If you know us you know we are big big BSU fans. So it's made out of wood. The plaque is shaped like a football and the top is a football field and it's painted blue (like our turf) and has all the yards on the field like a normal field. It has the wooden words "game day" painted in orange and then BSU wood letters and they are like the material of a football. It's so freaking awesome! I love love love it!! I hope all our family and friends had a very Merry Christmas! We are so blessed to have our wonderful, loving, and amazing family in our lives. Missed my mother in law today they are soaking up the sun in Disneyland hanging out with Mickey and the gang! Xoxo. Merry Christmas!

First Blog!!!
Okay so I'm new to this whole blogging thing...I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing but I'm just gonna go with it. :) So where should I start? I'm making this blog so our family from out of town can keep up with Skyler's and my life. Even if they are on facebook they really don't get a whole lot of info besides looking at pictures.
So let me tell you how Skyler and I met. We met at McDonalds back in October 2008. We got together March 27th, 2009. He took me on a bunch of dates between october and march until we "officially" were a couple. Lets see just to name a few. The first was to the Cheese Cake Factory. That was my first time there it was pretty good. Now we go there a lot. I love love love there fried mac and cheese balls. YUMM!!! Another date was to Cafe Ole for dinner and then we went and saw Benjamin Button. On Valentines day he took me to the Melting Pot which was good, bought me flowers and a picture at dinner. He got the picture for free because the server spattered the grease on my face, which at the time was not funny but now its really funny. I have the worst luck whether its grease spatter or hair in my food, if it can happen it will happen to me. Hahaha Skyler proposed to me on December 18th 2009 at the Pair which we went to dinner the night we were officially a couple. We had baked apple martinis and after we were done he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We were going out for a friends birthday so it was a very good night. We were engaged for about 6 months. We got married June 12th 2010 in Boise, Idaho. We had our ceremony in this little white church on BSU's campus and our reception at the Double Tree Riverside hotel. It turned out very well. It was very beautiful and just perfect!! We've been married 6 months now and it has been wonderful! He is a very good man and I don't know what I would do without him by my side. He is like my rock besides my mom of course.
So now I'll tell you a little about us. Skyler is still working at McDonalds. They are the only place that will work with his school schedule. He just got promoted to a Manager, which is good. He is a full time student at Boise State. He is currently getting a double major. He will be getting his Bachelors in Accounting, and a Bachelors in Finance. Originally he was just going to get one Bachelors in Accounting-Finance. But the difference between 1 degree and 2 degree's was only 3 classes so why not? It will be better for him in the long run anyways. He is really interested in Corporate Finance or working on Wall Street. He also wants to get his Masters at Stanford hopefully he will start in the Fall of 2013.
Now on to me. I am a Dental Hygienist. I'm thinking about going back to school either to get my bachelors in hygiene or for something else. There aren't really a lot of jobs around Boise right now. I went to school for Hygiene at Apollo College where I got my Associates.
We also 3 puppies that we love very much! They aren't puppies but I call him that. Our first one is Tootsie aka Bubbas. He is 7 years old and is part chocolate lab and shar pa, the middle dog is Daisy who is 5 years old. She is part boxer and australian shepard. Our youngest is Mya she is 3 years old. She is a pure bread pit bull. She is so loving and gentle and loves to snuggle on the couch. The puppies are like our kids. Even though sometimes they can be a handful but what dog can't?
Well that is us in a nut shell. I will be posting other things as they happen. Christmas is almost here so that is exciting. Today is Christmas eve eve. I've already made all my sweets that I am making and giving for presents to the family. I made chocolate truffles, bon bon's, fudge, and chocolate covered pretzels. I was very busy making all these goodies. The best part is they turned out! I've only ever made fudge before, so I'm branching out and trying new things to make. Any excuse I get to use my Kitchen aid is good. Well I think I did ok writing this. Once I got started things just came to my head, it was pretty easy. :)
